Welcome

to the Nuluti Equani Ehi Tribe. Most of our tribal citizens of
The Nuluti Equani Ehi Tribe are descendants of Chief Donnaha,
a Cherokee Chief whose Tribe and Clans lived along the Dan River,
Yadkin River, Catawba River and upper parts of the Pee-Dee River
of North Carolina Chief Donnaha and his people were a family
orientated tribe, and in many cases helped protect the non-native
settlers in the area. They were farmers, fishermen, craftsmen and
generally very peaceful, holding great respect for the land and people.

In memory of Chief Donnaha, his descendants and family organized this
tribe. Our name, Nuluti Equani Ehi, is Cherokee and means "Near the
River Dwellers." Citizenship is available to anyone who wishes to
learn and honor their Native American heritage. We base Citizenship
on Native American origin and will accept anyone, who thru genealogy,
can prove any Native American Blood Heritage. It is our desire to
help each person honor their heritage through charitable service and
association with other Native Americans and to help our youth learn
of their roots and proud traditions.

Many years ago, it was written that we shall have the right to Life,
Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. These words were not written
just for the non-Native Americans, but for All People. Our tribal
by-laws state the following points:

     1. We shall have the right to worship.
     2. We shall have freedom from persecution.
     3. We shall have the right to honor our ancestors as we see fit.
     4. We shall have freedom of speech.
     5. We shall have the right to open associations.
     6. We shall have the right to bear arms in defense of our Country.
     7. We shall present ourselves in a positive manner.

If you are looking for a new Tribal Home and the fellowship of your
Brothers and Sisters, then you have found the right place. We are a
